**Arcare Nirvana Avenue, Malvern East is on the lookout for a dedicated carer to join our home.**

**We are a boutique, 30 bed facility with a close-knit community of clients, families, and staff.**

**Salary Range**

Minimum $29 - $31 per hour

**About the Role**

We require someone available to commit to **_Monday to Friday AM shifts_**, with a total of **_69 hours per fortnight_**.

You will be responsible for providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support to residents in accordance with Arcare‘s Values. You will play a crucial role in resident’s overall wellbeing.

**Your primary functions will be**:

- Personal Care: Assisting with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming, maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
- Mobility support: Helping residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
- Monitoring health: Observing and reporting any changes in the resident’s health or behavior.
- Meal Assist: Supporting residents with their dietary requirements ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
- Maintaining records: Keeping accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
- Collaboration with healthcare professionals: Working in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

**Skills & Experience**
- Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
- Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
- Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
- Friendly and effective communication abilities.
