Our client is a well-established private accounting practice specialising in tax and business advisory services for high-net-worth individuals and businesses of all sizes.

**About the Role**:
This role serves as the key liaison between clients and the accounting team, ensuring smooth communication and efficient workflow. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will handle client inquiries, ATO liaison, and administrative support while contributing to process improvements. The overall outcome is enhanced client service delivery and operational efficiency.

**What we need from you**:

- Manage client communications, addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Coordinate ATO-related tasks (registrations, lodgements, portal management)
- Review work completed by outsourced team members for accuracy
- Assist with month-end invoicing and Xero invoice distribution
- Support onboarding and training for new team members
- Maintain and update office systems to improve efficiency
- Ensure timely completion of proposals and ad-hoc client requests

**What you'll bring**:

- 2+ years’ experience in an accounting practice or professional services role
- Strong understanding of basic tax concepts (PAYG, GST, ABN/TFN)
- Proficiency with Xero and ATO online portals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Initiative to improve processes and workflows
