**The Role**
Your primary responsibility as an Emergency Medicine (EM) Registrar is to deliver care in a safe and timely manner in the Emergency Department (ED). This will be achieved by working in partnership with other Senior Medical Officers (SMO) and Visiting Medical Officers (VMO). This position is designed to provide graduated levels of training and experience, consistent with the goals and objectives, and under appropriate supervision. You will act as an integral part of the Emergency Medicine team and will carry out your duties with professionalism and respect to other staff. The ED is experiencing a period of rapid growth with annual presentations around 28 000 and 20% paediatric presentations.

Collaborating closely with a team of 8 experienced and supportive FACEMs, alongside other ACEM, rural generalist, ACRRM, and GP trainees, as well as rotating HMOs and interns, they foster a rich learning environment.. You will have the chance to attain formal credentialing (CCPU) in eFAST, AAA, Lung, and Focused Echo in Life Support, with optional training in Renal, DVT, and Advanced Echocardiography. **Essential Requirements**
- Registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
- Current membership of the Australasian College of Emergency Medicine (ACEM)
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)
- Certified proof of Advanced Life Support/ training
