Since our clients founding in 2018 they have built a great brand serving pets across Australia on a subscription bases. Due to expansion they looking for an exceptional SHEQ Coordinator to join their team as they enter their Victoria scale-up phase.

The Opportunity

Out client is growing quickly, and no two weeks are the same. You will report to the Site Manager and be responsible for all maintenance & coordinating contracting work for their Dandenong South facility.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring the maintenance department operates efficiently
- Planning and conducting regular preventative maintenance for building, machinery, and equipment assets
- Managing and ordering inventory for spare parts and consumables
- Managing staff and resources to ensure maintenance requests are prioritised appropriately to meet business needs and expectations
- Coach production workers to utilise machinery and equipment appropriately to reduce the risk of breakdowns and injuries
- Develop and ensure adherence to maintenance SOPs
- Driving and modelling a leadership style and behaviour that supports a safety culture at all times
- Coordinate, assist and learn from OEMs/trades/contractors where necessary
- Ensuring compliance of Lyka's safety policies and procedures and other statutory and legal requirements

**Requirements**:

- 6+ years of Maintenance Supervisor experience in an automated food processing environment
- You must have hands-on experience with automated machines
- Experience in embedding a preventative maintenance program (FMECA or similar), regarded as extremely favourable
- Experience with automated production lines, as well as utilities and building assets such as refrigeration systems, boilers, and air compressors
- Experience creating maintenance strategies, short-term maintenance schedules, as well as managing spare parts strategies and inventory
- Excellent people management skills, structured leadership training including conflict resolution and problem solving.
- Comfortable dealing with emergencies and calm under pressure, with the ability to ideate and implement practical solutions to time-sensitive problems
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to use computer systems (e.g., ERP) and strong record-keeping ability
- Flexibility to adjust working hours in response to emergencies
- Ability to work well with others and sense of urgency to support Production
