Our federal government client is seeking the services for a Data Analytics Specialist to develop a data analytics strategy for the GovTEAMS Program Office. The strategy will include a roadmap, tactics and recommendations and is intended to ensure GovTEAMS can make data based decisions effectively. GovTEAMS is a Whole-of-Government collaboration service with two Microsoft Office 365 tenancies, GovTEAMS OFFICIAL and GovTEAMS PROTECTED.

As part of the specialist Data Analytics engagement, you will be asked to deliver the following: GovTEAMS data analytics strategy and roadmap, including:

- Timeline/roadmap for data analytics activities/events over the next 12 - 24 months.
- Identification of external data sources to provide a "contextual" view, and recommend how to identify any new or emerging data or data sources GovTEAMS should use to improve its contextual data analysis.
- GovTEAMS data sets and purpose matrix - I.E. what data sets should we use for what purpose?
- What types of data analysis per data set/source should we perform?
- Which data sets/sources we should and shouldn't target?
- What frequency should the analysis of those data sets occur?
- What datasets should we use that we aren't using now
- Analysis of both the GovTEAMS and related datasets to identify metrics, thresholds & trend-based decisions for several purposes, including but not limited to:

- Use of GovTEAMS for its core purpose - cross agency collaboration and/or working with externals
- GovTEAMS current use vs potential use
- How to retain and/or grow GovTEAMS user levels
- User patterns and actions for targeted campaigns
- Recommendations for tools, skills and resources required to support an ongoing APS data analytics role, including:

- Data analytics processes, references and resources that can be used (& reused) for future data analysis- Tactics, templates, approaches and worked examples that support the events on the roadmap and matrix.
- Industry resources, trends and examples we should leverage and monitor
- resources to address/optimise opportunities when they occur
- Identification of dependencies/relationship to:

- Comms and Marketing - how data analytics can support initiatives
- Engagement Services (the branch is building a central Engagement Team)
- Identify patterns, trends, gaps, and opportunities for collaboration and communication across agencies and with externals.
- Identify projects or contracts that could utilise GovTEAMS for delivery by analysing external data sources such as Austender.
- Patterns and trends of usage that can be leveraged to improve the user experience.
