CWS is home to Blinky Bill, the famous lovable koala who has starred in movie theatres and story books across Australia. Blinky Bill also stars as a character mascot here at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary along with his friends. We are seeking a motivated performer to join our talented team to bring the Blinky Bill character to life for our visitors. Our intention is for Blinky and his friends to educate our youngest visitors in a fun, engaging and memorable way about the importance of conservation and saving our Aussie wildlife.

**About the Role**

As an energetic Performer, you will deliver engaging, entertaining, and professional performances both onsite and occasionally offsite. The primary role will be to perform as a dancing character mascot in several show formats, in both character suit and “Show host” roles. You will also have the ability to deliver professional, entertaining, informative, and engaging public performances and able to work from both scripts and deliver unscripted presentations to small groups of all ages & nationalities.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you must be able to deliver high levels of customer service in an energetic, friendly, and professional manner within a busy team environment. Other key skills and qualifications we are looking for include:

- At audition, you will be required to perform a short script (supplied in advance) and learn a choreographed dance piece. Your audition may be filmed (for selection purposes only).
- Flexible and availability to work across weekends and school holiday holidays.
- This is an outdoor role in a non-smoking environment
