**Job Title**:Part-Time Market Stall Assistant (with Van Driving Duties)**

**Location**: Carseldine (Saturday), Redcliffe (Sunday), Brisbane City (Wednesday - occasional)

**About the Role**

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable **Market Stall Assistants** to join our team for an exciting and dynamic part-time position. This is an **Expression of Interest** only as the market does not currently have availability. We are gauging interest in the position to see if the business grows enough to hire additional staff in the future.

**Position Type**: Part-Time (Fixed Term)
**Start Date**: Later in the year (TBD, depending on market availability)
**Shifts**:

- **Saturdays**: Carseldine - 8 hours
- **Sundays**: Redcliffe - 8 hours
- **Wednesdays** (optional): Brisbane City - 12 hours (8am-6pm)
- _Note: Meals will be covered on Wednesday shifts if working the full day_

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Driving and Equipment Management**:

- Pick up a van with equipment on **Saturday mornings** and return it **Sunday evening** after the market.
- Set up and pack down the market stall at each location.
- **Customer Service and Sales**:

- Serve customers with a friendly, upbeat attitude.
- Upsell our range of delicious frappes, cold brews, iced teas, and other beverages.
- Share the story and journey of our growing business to connect with customers and build brand awareness.
- **Vehicle and Equipment Care**:

- Ensure the van and equipment are well-maintained and secure.
- Return the van after each shift and ensure all equipment is stored properly.
- **Valid Australian Driver's License** (any class) is required (Age 17+)
- Ability to pick up and drive the van to various locations on weekends and potentially Wednesdays.
- Able to work independently to set up and pack down the stall at market locations.
- Passion for customer service, sales, and promoting a growing business.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive attitude throughout the day.
- Has some or extensive experience in hospitality or customer service. (Not required)

**Pay**
- **Hourly Rate**: $24.08 per hour (part-time, as per the Hospitality Industry Award)
- **Penalty Rates for Weekend Work**:

- Saturday**:$30.10 per hour**:

- Sunday**:$36.12 per hour**

**Note**
