Apprentice Radio Telecommunications Technician

We have a position available within our Company.

**Monday - Friday**

**8am - 5pm**

**Location: Windsor, Brisbane QLD**

Commex Communications one of Brisbane’s leading Telecommunications Companies is looking for an Apprentice Radio Technician who has a genuine enthusiasm for Electronics and the Telecommunications trade.

Commex is a family owned and operated business with over 30 years’ experience, that specialises in Installation of equipment such as, UHF CB’s, Dash Cameras, Reversing cameras, Car audio/speakers, Head units, Solar, Electronic brake wiring and much more.

**Responsibilities and duties of this role may include but not limited to**:

- Installations on various 4wds, Cars, Trucks, Boats and more
- Repairs on various Two-Way Radios
- Computer programming of Two-Way Radios
- Installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair support across various radio communications systems and solutions
- Installation of Antennas and radios at height
- Cabling through buildings between communication equipment

**Knowledge and Attributes**
- The ability to work successfully within a team
- Computer Skills
- A demonstrated commitment to safety within the workplace/worksite.
- Current Manual Driver’s License is advantageous
- Excellent Maths and English skills
- Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Any knowledge on Digital and Analogue radio maintenance and repairs is advantageous

**Job Types**: Full-time, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From $30,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
