- Market & Meander, and the iconic rooftop bar
- Merrymaker, with panoramic views of Adelaide, we are setting the trend for local dining and cosmic cocktails

First impressions count. To get our guests’ memorable experiences off to an unforgettable start, we’re looking for a Guest Service Agent who can make transactions feel seamless, offer thoughtful neighbourhood insights, and anticipate every request to make our guests feel right at home and ignite their curiosity.

We're a tight knit team and love to upskill and build our team's capabilities, so our Guest Service Agents will also have the opportunity to assist in hotel Reservations capacity.

**A little taste of your day-to-day**

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

- A neighbourhood host - know what’s happening in the neighbourhood and the hotel; keeping up to date with events, activations and hotel information
- Acknowledging IHG One Rewards members and returning guests
- Taking, managing, and receiving payments for guest bookings
- Making the check-in and check-out process feel swift and seamless
- Flexing your product knowledge of room categories, rates, packages and promotions to demonstrate value to our guests
- Providing courteous and efficient handling of all incoming new room reservations, changes, cancellations and general information
- Staying one step ahead of our guests’ needs to anticipate requests and offer tailored recommendations
- Assisting guests with Porterage and Valet car parking duties Working closely with the Food & Beverage team taking on ad hoc duties as required

**What we need from you**

At Hotel Indigo we look for people who are energetic, approachable and cultured with a sense of fun; always curious to discover more and share thoughtful suggestions with our guests. A passion for Adelaide and our local region is what sets us apart from the rest

You will also have a few key skills:

- Communication skills - guests will need to come to you with concerns as well as compliments, so you’ll be easy to talk to
- Your problem-solving skills will turn issues into opportunities so our guests leave with great memories
- Fluency in the local language - extra language skills would be great, but not essential
- Literate and tech-savvy - you’ll need a good grasp of reading, writing, basic maths and computer skills
- Flexibility - willing and able to work across all shifts including mornings, nights, weekends and public holidays
- Compliant - valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (SA) and Safe Food Handling Certificate required
- Full drivers licence and the confidence to drive and park cars Must meet the legal requirement to work in Australia without limitations or restrictions
