Meb Foods is seeking an experienced Fitter & Turner to join our bakery operations in Campbellfield, Victoria. As a Fitter & Turner, you will play a vital role in maintaining and repairing the critical machinery. and equipment that powers our bakery production. This full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and contribute to the success of our growing business.

**What you'll be doing**
- Conducting regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on bakery equipment and machinery Identifying and troubleshooting issues with machinery to minimise downtime and ensure seamless production
- Performing mechanical work such as fitting, turning, welding, and fabrication to maintain equipment in optimal condition
- Collaborating with the production team to implement preventative maintenance strategies
- Adhering to all safety protocols and contributing to a strong safety culture
- Providing technical guidance and support to the broader team as needed

**What we're looking for**
- Qualified Fitter & Turner with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the food manufacturing or bakery industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical problem-solving skills
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and blueprints
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Pay: $79,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
