Chippendale, Australia Brickfields Bakery Full time

Join one of Sydney's premier artisan bakeries, renowned for our café in Chippendale and a delectable range of pastries, cakes, and bread.

As we expand our presence with new retail outlets and markets, we are seeking experienced and enthusiastic customer service assistants to join our team.

You'll be working across different locations, markets, kiosks, front-of-house areas, and cafes.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Serving bread and pastries to customers
- Maintaining kiosk and market stalls during service
- Set up and pack down of stalls
- Morning and afternoon shifts
- Occasional night market shifts available
- 3-5 shifts available Monday through Sunday.

Kiosk and café staff needed for:

- Inner West
- Eastern Suburbs

Market staff needed for:

- Eastern Suburbs
- Inner City
- Inner West
- Western Suburbs
- Northern Beaches
- Central West
- South Sydney

Should you be shortlisted, we will require you to attend a 1-3hr unpaid trial at one of our locations. This time will be used to assess if you have the correct capabilities for the advertised role. Should this assessment be positive, we will then schedule in formal training as you become part of the team.

**Applicants with a full drivers license will be highly valued**

**TASKS INCLUDE**:

- Set-up/tear-down of stall/kiosk
- Operating POS software (Square)
- Serving customers
- Stocktake
- Effective communication with the office about feedback from customers etc.

**WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:

- Customer service experience
- Self-starter capable of working independently
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Good physical fitness, speed and strength
- Sound literacy and numeracy skills
- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn and promote product knowledge
- Full Australian drivers licence (desirable but not required)
