Sandwich Hand

We’re looking for an experienced and reliable **Sandwich Hand & All-Rounder** to join our team at Piccolo Me Meadowbank Tafe. If you love working with fresh ingredients, take pride in presentation, and enjoy being part of a fun, fast-paced environment — we’d love to hear from you

**About the Role**:
You’ll be responsible for preparing and assembling sandwiches, wraps, and light meals while supporting the overall operations of the café. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and works well under pressure.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and assemble sandwiches, wraps, salads, and light meals to order
- Assist with food prep, storage, and kitchen organisation
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
- Restock displays and ensure fresh presentation throughout the day
- Support the front-of-house team when needed (e.g. delivering food, clearing tables, taking orders, assisting barista)
- Work efficiently and collaboratively with the team

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Previous experience as a sandwich hand or in a café/kitchen environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude, reliability, and great teamwork
- Available **Monday to Friday** (no weekend work)

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $31.19 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
