The Andersen Partnership is looking to speak to experienced motor assessors, panel beaters and spray painters with a repairs and maintenance background to work for a leading Australian Motor Assessing organisation.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will coordinate and undertake the delivery of assessment services on road and desktop on behalf of a range of clients in line with the company's customer service standards.

**Key responsibilities**
- Undertake the allocated assessment taking into account the type of accident, quoted repair and legislative requirements.
- Negotiate and communicate outcomes to vehicle owner/driver, our client and internal staff.
- Monitor and report on a managed repair process for large heavy motor vehicle or machinery losses.
- Prepare and submit total loss and written off vehicle reports in accordance our compliance requirements.
- Manage relationships with repairers to ensure quoted repair costs are fair and reasonable and meet the required standards.
- Maintain regular communication with the business Director on technical or customer service issues

**You will have**
- An automotive trade qualification in panel beating or spray painting.
- Experience in motor vehicle assessing, quoting or claims management with an emphasis on technical expertise (highly desired)
- Thorough knowledge of the insurance legislation as it applies to Motor Loss Assessing
- Proven ability to communicate and negotiate with clients and customers at all levels
- Proficient in self-management and prioritising of time working autonomously to reach required outcomes
- Intermediate computer and keyboard skills with attention to detail and the ability to prepare well-written reports
