Finance Analyst

**About the role**

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be providing general accounting and financial reporting support to the business with a focus on financial reporting.

As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

- Preparation of financial reports
- Preparation of management accounts
- Managing cashflow and bank balances and completing cash and loan ledger reconciliations
- Liaising with the bank in relation to finance arrangements
- Preparing cash flow forecasts, budgets, insights, and analytical commentary
- Preparing treasury performance reports
- Managing debt capital and borrowing strategies to optimise interest expenses
- Preparing quarterly bank covenant reporting
- Preparing BAS and FBT returns
- Preparing year-end tax effect calculations and tax account reconciliations
- Preparing consolidated company income tax return
- Co-ordinating the R&D tax claim process with the business
- Assisting with general tax compliance and advisory
- Co-ordinating insurance claims with brokers/insurers and reporting on claims history
- General Ledger reconciliations
- Maintain fixed assets register and running depreciation
- Assisting with other financial accounting jobs/duties as required from time to time

**Profile**
- CA/CPA qualified
- 3+ years of relevant commercial experience in a similar role
- Initiative-taker who thrives in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment
- Team-driven, results-oriented player with the ability to work independently
- Strong stakeholders engagement skills
- Highly analytical and forward-looking with strong ability to execute, meet deadlines
