DESCRIPTION The
Yard Coordinator is responsible for assisting with inspection of incoming vehicles at assigned Branch location. Responsibilities include vehicle check-in, digital imaging, vehicle clean-up and preservation, auction numbering/preparation, and responding to customer needs. RESP

- cle check-in by recording and filing information on incoming vehicles being assigned to the facility. Deta
- il (thoroughly clean) vehicles to improve their appearance for purposes of enhancing their value at auction. Oper
- ate passenger vehicles in a safe manner for the purposes of moving the vehicles around the facility and/or participating in drive-through auctions. Numb
- ering, preparation and set up for weekly/biweekly auction. Reco
- ver keys, license plates, and other information or objects from vehicles at the facility and store them in the appropriate locations at the branch. Assi
- st visitors by providing appropriate guidance and/or directing them to the appropriate person for additional assistance. Perf
- orm basic forklift/loader operation. Adhe
- re to all company policies and procedures. Read
- s and understands documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and other procedural documents, and ensures adherence to applicable safety and environmental rules in order to provide a safe business for customers and employees. Rema
- in alert to potential hazards associated with heavy equipment and other vehicles operated in assigned work area. Meet

- be willing to learn how to operate a forklift (may not be required in certain facilities) Capa
- ble of interacting effectively and supportively with customers & towers. Capa
- ble of performing and/or assisting with light maintenance of vehicles. Must
- be able to perform activities that involve stooping, bending, standing, and walking for reasonable periods of time. Abil
- ity to work in varying climates, weather conditions, and walking surfaces, inside and outside. Gene
- ral mechanical knowledge of makes and models of vehicles required. Abil
- ity to function well as part of a team. *Val- d driver’s license & ability to operate vehicles (may not be required in certain facilities). Abil
- ity to avoid accidents by recognizing potentially unsafe situations and responding appropriately when accidents occur. Abil
- ity to follow appropriate industry specific regulations related to the handling of hazardous materials. Acts
- as a role model and coaches, mentors, and manages a team of accounting specialist in the execution of department and company goals (non-people management). Duti
