The Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne is looking for an enthusiastic and driven an experienced, dedicated, reliable and motivated individual to be the welcoming face of our Signature Restaurant. Being the first point of contact, your main responsibilities will be to provide a warm welcome, planning the floor plan across different meal periods according to business demands and needs, cashiering whilst always ensuring high level of personalized service. Ensure cleanliness of the venue, appropriate table set up and ability to perform opening and closing duties.

This is a rare opportunity to be a part of the inaugural Ritz-Carlton, Melbourne opening team. We're looking for a professional who inspires innovation, drives excellence & fosters elevated guests experiences.

Working alongside some of the most talented and driven professionals in the industry, this role sees your passion for guest services and restaurant reservation management aid in the success of our Signature Restaurant.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or GED; 1+ years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.

OR
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Food Service Management, Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1-years’ experience in the food and beverage, culinary, or related professional area.
- Beneficial to have prior five-star hotel mixed with standalone restaurant experience, especially using table management system (e.g., sevenrooms, open table)
- Strong organization & communication skills required for this role.
- Must have a Victorian RSA certificate & full Australian working right.
