Monday to Sunday 9am-12pm

We are seeking a dedicated support worker with a Certificate IV in Mental Health to join our team and assist our client with community access.

Our client has a diagnosis of Treatment-Resistant Schizophrenia and may experience challenges such as reduced self-care, lack of motivation for activities, and limited emotional expression when unwell. At times, he may exhibit behaviors of concern, including physical aggression, verbal aggression, or substance use, particularly when triggered.
- Have experience working with clients who display challenging behaviors.
- Be patient, understanding, and skilled in de-escalation techniques.
- Promote a safe and supportive environment while encouraging independence.

Pay: $31.76 - $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: 6 - 21 per week
