**About the Role**:
This position involves working with clients with complex support needs and challenging behaviours. You will be responsible for supporting clients with daily activities, community participation, personal care, and behaviour management strategies in line with their NDIS goals and support plans.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct support to participants with high needs and behavioural challenges
- Implement positive behaviour support strategies and follow care plans
- Assist with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and household tasks
- Promote community access, social engagement, and skill development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
- Work collaboratively with families, carers, allied health professionals, and other stakeholders

**About You**:
To be successful in this role, you will be a **female support worker** with a strong background in the disability sector and experience managing complex behaviours. You will be confident, empathetic, and possess strong communication skills.

**Essential Criteria**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a support worker in the disability/NDIS sector
- Proven experience working with clients exhibiting challenging behaviours
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or a related field
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle
- Full work rights in Australia

**Desirable**:

- Training in Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
- Experience with mental health and trauma-informed care
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to support clients from diverse backgrounds
