**Requirements**:

- The position is suitable for a female support worker as that is the preference of the client.
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (required)
- Current Victorian Driver License & a Car
- Cert III/ IV in Ageing Support or relevant and/or equivalent experience
- Current police check (less than 6 months old) (required)
- Current CPR/First Aid Certificate (required)
- A current resume
- Evidence of eligibility to work within Australia (Australian Passport) Australian Citizenship (required)
- The ability to work Monday to Friday
- Strong communication skills
- Professionalism and ability to work in a team environment
- Respect the clients right to keep their own lifestyle, culture and religion
- An eye for detail, thoroughness in completing tasks

**Personal Support Worker**

The work is dynamic, working across personal care, social support, community access, general home cleaning and respite care.

**Job Tasks and Responsibilities**

Work can be varied and is determined by the support needs of the clients and their decision makers/ family. This could include:

- judgemental
- Assisting client with daily living tasks including personal care, domestic assistance, laundry, and ironing.
- Assist client with meal preparation
- Provide emotional and social support
- Assisting clients with grocery shopping and attend medical appointments
- Provide respite care when required

**Location of work: Bentleigh East VIC**

**Total hours: 12 to 16 hours per week**

**Days of work: Monday to Friday and Saturdays**

**Remuneration: Between $30 to $45 per hour**

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

- Penalty rates

COVID-19 considerations:
All workers are required to wear PPE

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bentleigh East, VIC 3165: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Driver Licence (preferred)
