Horticulture Apprentice

A great opportunity is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who wants to learn skills in regular garden maintenance work in commercial and high-end residential sectors, throughout the Sydney metro area.

The successful applicant will have the following:
*A current manual driver’s licence

*Fit and healthy with the ability to work in full sun

*A team player with a friendly ‘can do’ attitude

*Willing to achieve Certificate III in Horticulture (Parks and Gardens)

Duties include:

- Mowing
- Edging
- Trimming shrubs and cultivating gardens
- Planting
- Mulching
- Cleaning grounds using rake, broom, blower and hose
- Fertilizing
- Manual handling (eg barrowing)
- Weed, pest and disease control/identification
- General landscape maintenance
- Attending TAFE one day per week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

**Salary**: From $37,500.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rouse Hill NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:
