Do you have a passion for animals and a keen eye for detail? **Pets Country Club in Lara** is looking for a dedicated **Animal Attendant** to join our amazing pet care team

In this role, you’ll help complete the day-to-day operations of our state-of-the-art pet care facility and doggy daycare, ensuring that our furry guests receive the best care, safety, and attention they deserve. You'll be a vital part of the team, helping to deliver our **award** **winning**customer service while assisting with animal care and facility upkeep.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- **Animal Care**: Assist with the daily feeding, grooming, and care of pets, ensuring each one is safe, comfortable, and well-attended to throughout their stay.
- **Behaviour Monitoring**: Observe animals for signs of stress, illness, or injury and report any concerns to the team or management.
- **Sanitation & Safety**: Help maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of our pet care areas, play zones, and equipment to ensure a safe environment for both animals and staff.
- **Client Interaction**: Assist with checking pets in and out, answering client queries, and providing exceptional customer service.
- **Team Support**: Work alongside other attendants and supervisors to maintain smooth operations and contribute to a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
- **Record-Keeping**: Help maintain accurate records for pets under your care, including feeding schedules and medication needs.

**What We're Looking For**:

- **Animal Enthusiasm**: A love for animals and a genuine desire to ensure their well-being.
- **Communication Skills**: Friendly and approachable, with the ability to interact with clients and team members professionally.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ability to follow instructions and maintain accurate care records.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- **Reliability**: Strong work ethic with a commitment to punctuality and dependability.
- **Experience**: Previous animal care experience or a relevant qualification (like Certificate II or III in Animal Studies or similar) is preferred but not essential.
- **First Aid**: A willingness to undergo first aid training, if not already certified.
- **Availability**: Weekend, Public Holidays and School Holiday availability is critical for this role.

**Interview Process**:
Applicants selected for an interview will be invited to a 5-hour unpaid trial to assess animal handling and husbandry skills, this will also include a face-to-face chat with the manager. Interviews start at **7:00am** and are held Monday to Friday.

N.B. Interview start time is not negotiable and reflects a typical shift start time.

Pay: $30.35 - $64.63 per hour
