**Your day as an Assistant Buyer**:

- Providing support and assistance to the Buyer
- **Product Development experience is a MUST**:

- Analysis of business opportunities and identify potential clients
- Managing supplier liaison
- Running general ad-hoc reports as required with accuracy
- Managing fit sessions
- Comp shop analysis
- Involvement in story board management
- Completing advertising briefs
- Preparing financial figures

**Some things we are looking for in an Assistant Buyer**:

- Proven experience working in a similar role within the retail industry
- Previous experience with apparel
- Strong Administration experience
- A passion for the product that is balanced with commercial acumen
- Able to communicate at all levels
- Ability to manage tight deadlines
- Show initiative to contribute to a team in order to grow your portfolio
- Flexible in your approach
- Exceptional organisation skills and attention to detail
- Be achievement orientated and results driven
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Have a down to earth attitude and able to put yourself in the customers shoes
- Be resourceful and adaptable

**Salary**: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
