**Position overview**:
Are you interested in learning more about Planning in the world leading industrial coating resins company? allnex is looking for a motivated and self-organized **Replenishment Planner **to join our team. You will be responsible for planning and call off for purchased materials (resale items and raw materials) and packaging. The role is a fixed term full time contract for** 6 months** based in **Wacol, Queensland**,
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage the development of supply/replenishment plans to ensure supply of raw materials and effective control of inventory within the bounds of company working capital targets
- Raise purchase orders to call in stock against trade agreements and keep these up to date with respect to delivery dates
- Manage distribution requirements planning by raising transfer orders to move raw material stock between warehouse locations and keep these up to date with respect to delivery dates
- Ensure all master data related to raw materials and other supplies are accurately maintained in SAP
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and work collaboratively with the central supply chain function to improve S&OP
- Accept personal responsibility to ensure all company policies are adhered to including contribution to safe workplace and compliance with the Allnex internal company policies and procedures
- Run reports and develop supply communications on e.g. inventory, shortages, stockouts, DIFOT
**Required skills and experience**:
- Experience in Chemical or Oil related industry preferred
- Experience in demand forecasting, replenishment planning, and distribution requirements planning, purchasing and inventory management in a high SKU environment (min > 3 years essential)
- Good understanding of MRP and order management processes
- Good understanding of SAP advantageous
- Good communication and listening skills
- Flexible, adjust readily to new situations while effectively dealing with ambiguity, stress and uncertainty
**Qualifications**:
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, procurement, logistics or alternative relevant field and/ or APICS qualifications highly desirable
