Monash Health's Womens and Newborn, Birth Suite/Pregnancy Assessment department is seeking Ward Clerks for both full time and part time positions.

Healthcare administration is fast paced and Ward Clerks are an integral part of the team. The Ward Clerk is the first person our patients are greeted by and therefore an asset to the Monash Women's Service.
The Ward Clerk should be proficient in:
- Registering patient information
- Admissions, discharges and transfers throughout the Program
- Administration and other clerical tasks
**About You**
You are a proactive, experienced healthcare administrator who enjoys a fast paced environment and can work effectively in autonomous role. Prioritising comes naturally to you and being in a hospital environment you exhibit integrity, compassion, accountability, respect and excellence.
**About Monash Women’s and Birth Suite/ Pregnancy Assessment**
We are a 12 bed Birthing Suite with 4 alternate admission beds that see over 4,500 births per year. Our Pregnancy Assessment area consists of 4 assessment rooms and 2 monitoring chairs. We provide a comprehensive range of Assessment and Birthing services for the rapidly growing communities of Melbourne’s south east. We work in conjunction with our Casey and Dandenong Women’s Health teams.
**Who are we looking for?**
- Proven healthcare administration experience
- Familiar with iPM, KRONOS, EMR, iPROC (advantageous)
- Ideally you are familiar with the set up and function of an inpatient unit
- Friendly, customer service driven individual with exceptional, effective communicate skills
- Proactive, organised and can work autonomously and multitask in a busy environment
