Food and Domestic Assistant

Corryong Health are looking for part-time Food & Domestic Service Assistants. You are responsible for supporting the provision of high-quality food services to our residences, cleaning and laundry services at Corryong Health. Food & Domestic Service Assistants report to the Facilities Manager.

As a Food & Domestic Services Assistant, you will work as part of a team to provide these services to our residents:

- Perform basic food preparation,
- Clean rooms and eating areas,
- Perform laundry work,
- Serving and delivery of meals.

**Selection criteria**

**Essential**:

- To be considered for this position you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or have a relevant visa allowing you to live and work in Australia with no restrictions. Corryong Health does not undertake visa sponsorship for this role.
- Current certificate of food safety level 1.
- Demonstrate an understanding of a need for confidentiality and commitment to same.
- A willingness to work weekends and variable shifts.
- Genuine desire to work in the hospitality service within a health care service agency.
- Knowledge of good personal hygiene standards.
- Ability to work to a high standard with mínimal supervision.
- Able to be contacted by telephone
