**About the Opportunity**

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a** Registrar** to join us within the **Paediatric Ophthalmology **Department.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

- Contributing to the provision of clinical services to WCHN inpatients and outpatients under Consultant supervision.
- Demonstrating a commitment to clinical teaching and participate in associated research projects.
- Organising departmental education sessions alongside the responsible Consultant
- Committing to producing clinical audit/s for the department on topics designated by the Medical Unit Head of Ophthalmology, assisting in clinical governance functions within the department.
- Participating in the WCH on-call roster.

As per the SMOEA 2022, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12-months / or 6-months allocation to Registrar Ophthalmology Registrar will be determined in line with your training and SA Health’s requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills, and capabilities.

**About You**

**To be successful in this role, you will have**:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent.
- Registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner - General Medical Registration
