**After School Carer Needed - Alexandra Hills, Brisbane**
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced educator to support a 7-year-old with after school care. The family has a small dog and cat.

**Location**: Alexandra Hills, Brisbane
**Days/Hours**: Monday to Friday, 2:30 PM - 5.30 PM
**Start Date**: ASAP

**Hourly rate**:$40.00 Per hour

**Duties include**:

- School pick-up
- Providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment
- Engaging in age-appropriate play, activities, and supervision
- Preparing snacks and supporting basic routines

**We’re looking for someone who is**:

- Kind, patient, and enthusiastic
- Experienced in working with children
- Reliable and punctual

**Prerequisites**:
Please ensure you have all the following prerequisites before applying:

- Certificate III in Children’s Services (ACECQA approved)
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate (in a childcare setting)
- Blue Card
- Police Clearance (less than 6 months old)
- Public Liability Insurance (once successfully placed)
- Medical Clearance
- Child Protection Certificate (refresher required every 2 years)
- ABN (this role is for a self-employed contractor)
- Photo ID
- PRODA RA (the office will assist you with this)
- Must be over 18 years of age
- Reliable car and driver’s license

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $40.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:

- Police Clearance (preferred)
- ABN (preferred)
- Child Protection Refresher (preferred)
- Blue Card (required)
- Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care (required)
- HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an education and care setting (required)
- HLTAID009 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (required)
