**About the Role**
We are seeking a dynamic professional for the role of Student Wellbeing Initiatives Specialist to join our team within the Education, Experience & Employability (EEE). The role is a fixed-term 3-year position, offering a unique opportunity to lead and implement a wide range of student wellbeing initiatives.

As the Student Wellbeing Initiatives Specialist, you will oversee the establishment and implementation of initiatives supported by Federal and State government funding and commercial partnerships. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of these initiatives, working closely with unit heads and key stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the Student Wellbeing Strategy.

In the role, you will develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones, ensuring initiatives are tracked and reported within set timeframes and KPIs. You will consult with students, unit leaders, and other experts to support the successful delivery of tailored initiatives, building and maintaining productive relationships with senior members of relevant units. Additionally, you will prepare regular project status reports and ensure effective evaluation of student wellbeing initiatives against strategic goals. Your leadership will contribute to strategic and operational planning, ensuring optimal utilisation of resources and maintaining professional standards.

**About You**
To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

- Demonstrated experience coordinating and implementing projects by utilising effective management principles.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to engage with and coordinate cross-functional teams at all levels across the institution.
- Proven ability to analyse complex problems, identify critical issues, develop strategies for delivering solutions and provide accurate and consistent advice.
- Highly developed communication skills and demonstrated experience producing comprehensive recommendations, project plans, and briefing papers.
- Experience/understanding of issues affecting student wellbeing, including physical, mental and spiritual wellbeing, and/or equity and disability supports.

**Qualifications**
- Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
