About the Role

You will have end to end accountability for our Credit Assessment Technology Service at the bank, including development of the strategy and road map to deliver the future state capabilities. You will build a high performing team that works collaboratively across the Practice and the group to support the existing Credit Assessment services for the bank and manage down the cost of delivering the service ensuring risks are managed in line with group standards.

**In this role you will get to**:
Support the business to understand current state and develop the target state for the Lending Credit Assessment Service.
Ensure the Service operates effectively with the right capacity and capability
Collaborate to manage cross-Practice and Service dependencies for successful business outcomes.
Manage vendor and partner relationships effectively.
Develop and present the strategy and deliverables of the Lending Credit Assessment Service to all key stakeholders for support to drive modernisation and simplification.
Have effective and appropriate Incident, Problem, Configuration, Change and Release Management according to Technology and Group standards.
Lead and manage development squads.

About You

You will have leadership experience, fostering an environment to encourage collaboration and high performance. Including leading individuals and teams to design, build and deliver various initiatives within a Lending Credit Assessment function.

**To be successful in this role you will have**:
A solid technology foundation built from either an IT Engineering or an IT Development background and have the vision to drive change through the development of new innovative technology.
The ability to take ownership, deliver initiatives end to end, develop roadmaps, maintain BAU activities, manage risk and lead the team.
Ability to think strategically about how we can modernise and uplift.
A proven track record of successfully implementing major initiatives using Agile methodologies, including the use of Jira and Confluence.
Proven project delivery experience with the ability to drive change in a high-tech development environment
Excellent communication skills, interacting with both business and technical stakeholders at various levels, including managing 3rd party relationships and vendors
