**Salary**: From $76,550 + super per annum (commensurate with experience)
Hours: Full time, 38 hpw + reasonable overtime

**About the role**
Aspen Stone Construction Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified/experienced Stonemason and Carpenter to join our team delivering high-quality residential and commercial stonework (natural and engineered stone). You’ll work across workshop and on-site installations, producing premium finishes to specification, safely and on schedule.

**Key duties**
- Cut, shape, and lay natural and reconstituted stone according to specifications and project plans.
- Construct and repair stone structures including walls, facades, fireplaces, stairs, and benchtops.
- Operate hand and power tools safely to saw, chisel, polish, and finish stone.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and job specifications.
- Measure and mark stone for cutting and shaping.
- Mix mortar or adhesives and ensure proper bonding of materials.
- Collaborate with other trades, including carpenters, to ensure accurate alignment and secure structural integration.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas, tools, and equipment.
- Support stonemasonry apprentices and assist with training where required.

**Skills & experience (minimum)**
- **1+ years** full-time stonemason experience
- Ability to read drawings and take accurate site measurements
- Current driver’s licence and ability to travel to sites across SEQ
- High attention to detail, reliability and teamwork
