Bistro Supervisor

We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for hospitality to join our team as the Supervisor in La Trattoria, our exceptionally busy bistro. The role involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, with a strong focus on enhancing the customer experience. This is a hands-on position that will require you to lead by example and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage your team to ensure exceptional service
- Review bookings daily and ensure the restaurant is set up for efficient service
- Motivate and train staff as required
- Conflict resolution and addressing customer complaints
- Assist the Executive Chef to coordinate and see through bistro functions
- Prepare weekly rosters for front of house staff
- Report on all daily operational issues and information
- Liaise with Management on operational issues

**Skills and Experience**

Skills required but not limited to include:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in hospitality
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to grow a team
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
- Knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
- Current RSA required
- Current First Aid certificate (preferred but not essential)
