**Telecommunications Technician / Technical Salesperson**

Data & Voice Plus are seeking a Telecommunications Technician.

The role will involve maintenance of IP Telephone systems & high speed data networks.

**The work will include, but not limited to**:

- On site position
- Help desk & IT support
- Sales & customer service
- Installation of telephone systems & equipment
- Installation & maintenance of structured cabling systems
- Locate, identify and rectify telecommunications network faults
- Install, test and terminate optical fibre cable
- Installation of Wi-Fi networks & long distance point to point links.
- Use of hand and power tools
- Programming
- Completing paperwork and records
- Occasional need to stay overnight

**Pre-Requisites**:

- Current manual vehicle drivers license
- Experience with using basic hand tools
- Hold a Current Working with Children Check
- Able to pass a Federal Police check before commencing.

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
