Sewing Staff

Position: - 1 x Full-time Sewing Staff **Duties**: - Unpack new orders ready for embroidery and/or sewing - Read the "works order" and "pick list" to identify what is required - Fold completed embroidered and/or sewing orders - Mark garments ready to be embroidered/ reflective tapes to be applied - Communicate with supervisor to identify sequence of orders - Used cotton spools counted to be reordered - Assist embroidery operator with embroidery when required - General cleaning duties - Sewing machine maintenance - Embroidery machine maintenance - Report any issues of concern to supervisor **Requirements**: - Verbal and written communication in English - Experience operating industrial sewing machines - Experience operating embroidery machines preferred (but not essential) - Experience with garment alternations - Rights to work in Australia Working Hours: - Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm **Location**: - Malaga, WA 6090 (Free on-site parking available) Notes: - Starting July - Training will be provided How to apply: **Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent **Experience**: - industrial sewing: 5 years (required) **Language**: - English (required) Work Authorisation: - Australia (required) Work Location: In person
