The Hospitality Attendant supports the funeral and memorial operations, assisting funeral directors and catering to funeral services and other special events within the cemetery.
The role also contributes to the cemetery program by assisting with set-up and delivery of services,presentation, cleaning, and light grounds maintenance in our hospitality areas and crematorium. Other duties may include; the pickup and drop-off of coffins and delivering ashes.
**Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, the duties of the attendant include**:
- Professional Customer service
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold food and alcoholic beverages, including barista-made coffee
- Handle customer enquiries
- Set up and delivery of audio-visual and web streaming prior to services
- Support any internal and external events
- Transfer of coffins and caskets
- General maintenance, rubbish collection and cleaning
**Requirements**:
- Hospitality experience required
- Comfort working in cemetery environment
- National Police Clearance
- Drivers License
- RSA badge
- Covid Vaccination - at least 2 doses (required)
- Ability to pass D/A and medical
