A national leader in the poultry industry are looking for experienced process workers who are ready to take the next step in their career and step into a role where they will be trained to be a leading hand for a plant that prides themselves on a clean safe work environment.

**Requirements for this role**:

- Willingness to Learn the ins and outs of leading hand roles and procedures.
- Understanding safety procedures
- General processing work
- Willingness to learn knowledge of production equipment, start up, change over and shutdown of production lines
- Maintain productivity the meets/exceeds standards
- Ensure all safety requirements are met such as personal protective equipment, lockout/tag out procedures.
- Willingness to learn to identify and report potential hazards
- Identify and act on issues that may impact food safety and quality by bringing concerns to Supervisor’s attention
- Willingness to learn to ensure completion of all daily reports and required documentation
- Lead by example - by dealing with team members and responding to changes in the work environment in a positive manner
- Have great communication skills, to liase with internal and external stakeholders.
