The Monash Health Pathology Service operates under the brand name of Monash Pathology and is an integral part of Monash Health. It is one of the largest providers of Pathology services in the state and currently operates 5 laboratories. The largest of these is located at the Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, with additional facilities being located at the Dandenong, Moorabbin, Casey and Wonthaggi Hospitals. There are currently 19 collection centres based within the hospital sites and community
**About the Role**
The Administrative Assistant for Pathology works as part of the Pathology Operations team to provide a high level of administration support to the General Manager, Program Director, Business Manager, Operations Manager and Leadership team.
The role supports the day to day function of the Pathology Operations Office. Assists and supports the General Manager, Program Director and Executive Assistant in all areas including, clerical duties, budget control, invoice monitoring and payment and personnel management as required. The Administrative Assistant has the ability to function effectively as both an individual and a team member, they have excellent communication skills, first rate customer service focus and the ability to deal with a wide variety of people on various issues.
**About You**
The successful applicant will have a professional, customer oriented approach with excellent presentation and well-developed organisational and interpersonal skills with attention to detail. Previous experience in a secretarial/administrative/executive assistant role is essential.
