Gold Coast, Australia ENV Solutions Full time

The Field Technician role will be full time site-based position and include activities such as field sampling services, equipment calibration and maintenance, drill rig support, management of field data, and the set-up and operation of water treatment equipment including dewatering systems. Our projects are primarily based in

Southeast QLD and northern NSW, however occasional travel further afield is sometimes required.

**About the Role**
- Undertake environmental data collection activities and assist with daily reporting requirements.
- Field sampling, including the collection of air/soil/water samples for laboratory analysis.
- Identify, report and resolve service outcomes on site, where possible.
- Learn and develop plant process monitoring and plant process optimisation skills.
- Undertaking routine maintenance activities for existing projects and equipment.
- Implement and install water treatment plants including de-watering systems on new projects.
- Track maintenance requirements and ensuring any calibration works are completed.
- Maintain quality records, reports and compliance documentation including use of a computerised maintenance management systems.
- Work in a team environment and follow standard procedures with mínimal supervision.
- Reliable and responsible with the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with mechanical aptitude.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt across a wide range of tasks.
- Willingness to undertake manual labour.
- Physically fit.
- Experience within the construction industry (valuable, but not mandatory).
- Ability to work and communicate competently on construction sites.
- Construction Induction (White Card) and a current manual Driver Licence.

**Valuable Skills**
Although not essential, the below would be useful in your role with ENV:

- Mechanical / plumbing / fitting / electrical background is highly desirable.
- Proven competencies with operating water treatment plants.
- Dewatering experience.
- Field sampling experience.
- Various construction industry training certificates.

**Remuneration**
ENV Solutions offers competitive salary packages, depending on your qualifications and experience.

ENV would consider funding industry certified training (if required) to learn relevant, recognised certified skills
in scientific sampling and measurement.
