**What does the role offer?**
- Monday - Friday day shift
- $37.45 - $41.43 p/hour (inclusive of allowances) + 11.5% super
- Permanent, full-time role
- Optional 9 day fortnight

**What is this role responsible for?**
- Maintain and repair Council’s large plant, tractors, heavy vehicles, small plant, light vehicles and other plant and equipment such as and provide services to external customers as directed.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, automotive electrical, plant hydraulics, automotive air conditioning and pneumatic systems as well as complex systems that are integrated into our fleet.
- Provide advice and guidance to stakeholders regarding the service, operation and maintenance of heavy plant equipment, heavy vehicles, small plant and light vehicles
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner including the safety of team members and other Council staff

**What will you bring?**
- Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology/Mobile Plant Technology/ Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or related discipline
- Experience in repair, diagnosis and maintenance of heavy plant and heavy and light vehicles
- Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to multitask.
- Proven ability to work productively as a member of a team and contribute to team goals

It is highly desirable to have the following tickets or willingness to obtain; Current Class HR Drivers Licence, TfNSW and Light Vehicle Inspection Certificate, Automotive air conditioning repairer licence**Questions?**
