Based out of our Newcastle depot, we are seeking a motivated and focused individual to join our team in a utility driver / factory sorter role, performing a variety of driving and depot duties. With a wide and varied client base our routes vary daily. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic person who can work unsupervised and who is interested in a diverse range of duties. Key responsibilities: - Providing great face to face customer service - Driving in the Newcastle metro and regional surrounding areas - Delivery and collection of Hygiene and Sanitary products - Loading and unloading of your vehicle - Perform daily vehicle inspections to ensure your vehicle is maintained, safe and clean - Complete all service paperwork - Remain compliant with all policies and procedures including WHS - Clean and maintain driving equipment and the warehouse facility - Sorting and assisting in production of the confidential material - Use of production machinery - Perform pre-starts on machinery - Remain compliant with all policies and procedures including WHS Key requirements: - MR Driver’s license is required - Forklift license would be helpful - Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills - Physically fit with a willingness to do physically demanding role - Ability to use Smart technologies - Attention to detail with an ability to follow service instructions - Ability to work independently and also within a close-knit team environment - Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills - Be aligned with our Values of Safe, Smart, Sustainable and Service What is in it for You? - Competitive Market Rates - $100 allowance per day for overnight runs - Birthday Vouchers and Celebrations - Learning and development opportunities - Great benefits including employee shopping discounts - Employee reward and recognition program - Company Uniform - Employee Assistance Program - On-Site Parking Shortlisted applicants will be required to: - Undergo a Federal Police clearance check - Obtain a Working with Children Certificate - Be eligible to legally live and work in Australia - Undertake a pre-employment medical assessment relative to their position - Appropriate immunisation requirements, including COVID 19 vaccinations.
