**About the Role**:
This opportunity supports the ongoing maintenance needs for the beautiful campus of Craigslea State High School. Working alongside the Business Manager you will supervise other team members, assist with day to day maintenance and operations of facilities and grounds work and develop strong practices, delivering high quality results in all areas of landscaping, gardening, facilities maintenance and more.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Ensure all required checks are completed and update regularly; including electrical checks, carpet cleaning, pest control and other services that require maintenance
- Provide guidance and management to other grounds staff to increase efficiencies and deliver high quality services to the school grounds
- Undertake reviews, stocktake and record keeping to ensure up to date information is readily available
- Improve on planning, minor works budgets and advice to the Business Manager on best practice approaches to management of the school grounds
- Provide operational support to ensure compliance with legislation, guidelines, procedures and standards with respect to facilities planning and operational management.

**About You**:
This role is best suited to an experienced and skilled landscaper, grounds designer or horticulturalist who is passionate about improving and delivering high quality results to the school community.
