Southport, Australia Vintage Grind Full time

A busy local cafe in Australia Fair Shopping Centre is looking for an experienced barista to work on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.

Your responsibilities include:

- Welcoming customers, taking their orders, and handling payments
- Grinding coffee using a coffee grinder and adjusting the grinder as needed
- Preparing espresso-based coffee drinks, such as long black, flat white, caffè latte, and cappuccino
- Preparing other beverages, including tea, hot chocolate, smoothies, and frozen drinks
- Keeping coffee-making equipment clean throughout the day and following a procedure to thoroughly clean the equipment at the end of the day
- Replenishing shelves and fridges with items such as baked goods, snacks, and bottled drinks
- Serving food and drinks to customers
- Washing dishes, organising plates and cups
- Wiping tables, sweeping and mopping floors at the end of the day or as needed
- Training new employees on how to operate equipment and prepare different drinks

To qualify you should:

- Have passion for coffee and customer service
- Be able to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Be able to work well within a team
- Be able to work well with mínimal supervision

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $27.00 per hour
