BaptistCare is seeking a Chaplain to join our amazing chaplaincy team at the Blue Hills Manor in Prestons.

Blue Hills Village is nestled on 13 acres of beautifully landscaped land just 30 minutes’ drive from the Sydney CBD at Prestons and is easily accessible from both the M5 and M7 motorways.

**About the role**:
The chaplain will provide quality person-centred Chaplaincy/ Pastoral Care that meets the needs of our residents, clients and their families, staff and volunteers and is consistent with BaptistCare’s Purpose and Values. The position is a permanent fulltime role based in Prestons.

**The successful applicant will have**:

- Tertiary qualifications in chaplaincy /pastoral care OR tertiary theological qualifications with a willingness to undertake chaplaincy / pastoral care specific training within the first 12 months of employment.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of Christian spiritual maturity with a pastoral heart
- Active involvement in and recommendation from a local Christian Church
- Chaplaincy or pastoral care experience
- Current ‘Working with Children Check’
- Experience working in collaborative, multi-disciplinary settings
- Willingness to undergo a police check
