About the role
We're not just about removing - we're building, we're connecting, we're revitalising, and with the addition of 10 new level crossings to be removed, the team at LXRP are busier than ever. Alongside the other roles we are recruiting for, we are looking for a Finance Adviser to join our team.
Reporting to the Team Leader, Finance Operations, the VPS4 Finance Adviser position is a unique and varied role. This is an ideal career development opportunity for someone who is familiar with Oracle systems and is proficient in providing support to a range of stakeholders.
Working within a dynamic and driven team, on any given day you might find yourself:

- Leading the engagement with the procurement function and external suppliers to support seamless procure to pay processes.
- Preparing and processing financial project financial transactions in compliance with departmental and authority policies and processes, including requisitions, purchase orders and journals.
- Supporting the Manager, Project Accounting with month end/ EOFY duties.
- Supporting the monthly accruals process ensuring appropriate substantiation is available for review and audit.

This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $90,067 and $102,193 + superannuation. People who enjoy working from both the office and from home have the option to access our hybrid working arrangements.

About you
You will work within a team of finance professionals to deliver purchasing and accounting advice, support and financial reporting to a variety of stakeholders within the Level Crossing Removal Project (LXRP).
A relevant tertiary qualification and experience working within a major infrastructure project environment would be beneficial to the role. Experience using Oracle systems and Oracle Projects is essential to the role. Being a people person is also a must
