Credit Controller

About the role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller based out of our branch in Glendenning.

Reporting to the Account Receivable Manager, this role will see you use your organisational and relationship building skills to make a true impact on the business.

**In this role you will also**:

- Manage a high-volume ledger, updating debtor information and monitoring credit limits
- Follow company processes and procedures with regards to collection and escalation
- Monitor and review with Management high risk accounts, engage and work collectively across teams to reduce overdue debt
- Work proactively to increase cashflow within customers allocated terms
- Reconcile complex accounts and with excellent attention to detail
- Conduct periodic credit reviews of existing accounts and negotiate account repayment plans
- Monitor and action credit limits inhouse with the appropriate personnel

Skills and experience

**You will have**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Accounts Receivable role (Hire industry experience advantageous)
- Knowledge of Credit Control function and end to end Accounts Receivable framework
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office products (essential), SAP Ariba & Baseplan (desirable)
- Ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
- Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
- Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
