**About the role**

In this senior leadership role, you will support the Manager, Engineering Services in shaping departmental strategy, developing operational plans and budgets, and ensuring alignment with SA Pathology’s mission and goals. You will also lead a team of staff, contractors, and consultants, fostering strong stakeholder relationships to achieve excellence in service delivery and corporate program outcomes.

**About You**

You will be a highly skilled engineering professional with a strong background in biomedical devices and technical leadership. Your ability to manage complex projects, support a multidisciplinary team, and maintain high service standards will be key to success in this role.

**Key requirements**:

- Appropriate degree in engineering with extensive experience in maintaining and repairing complex biomedical and electromechanical systems.
- Strong leadership skills, with proven ability to manage people, resources, and business activities effectively.
- Comprehensive knowledge of biomedical device operation, relevant standards, codes of practice, and South Australian legislative requirements.
