Seeking Mature Male Disability Support Workers

_Are you a lively, active and caring individual who loves to support people to live independently? We are on the hunt for Male Disability Support Worker's for a Male Client located in Fitzgibbon. _
- Our Male Client loves going on bushwalks, heading into the city and watching a band in the Queen Street Mall. He is an active member of his local community and is keen to maintain his independence. He is quiet, well-mannered and is well supported by his family. _
- This lovely Client will require assistance with community access, and awareness of diabetes through healthy diet choices. Additionally, someone who can be always by his side, so he does not wander off._
- **Shifts Available**:_
- _Saturday's 10:00am to 2:00pm with the opportunity for _**increased hours during the week day & weekends**_._
- **What You’ll Need**:_
- _A valid driver’s license._
- _Comprehensive Car Insurance_
- _A friendly and respectful attitude._
- _Ability to follow instructions and support independent living._
- **QSSS hourly rates are Weekday $35.66, Evening $38.30, Night $39.33, Saturday $48.65, Sunday $62.62, Public Holidays $76.38 - (sorry, rate not negotiable).**_

We also support our staff through our EAP service which offers 4 x free counselling sessions where required, as well as discounted physiotherapy sessions at select physio practices while also having the assurance of consistency of **C**lients you support. You have a comprehensive suite of online learning to support you and face to face learnings.

To deliver high quality support to our Clients in the capacity they require, the exact way they would like it delivered  

Communicate effectively and collaborate for our Clients' needs with our Clients, team & Support Specialist  

Understand, follow instructions, and be responsive to our Clients needs  

Provide support to our Clients as required  

Have good rapport building skills and a gentle, encouraging manner  

Be reliable and flexible to fill shifts when required  

Have an interest in building a respectful relationship with our Clients  

To support our Clients to achieve their NDIS Goals  
- **To be Successful you must **_  

Resonate with the role description above  

Hold CPR and first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain)  

Hold NDIS worker screening (or willingness to obtain)  

Hold or be willing to obtain a blue card  

Hold Certificate III in disability or related fields (or willingness to obtain
- preferred)  

Have evidence of eligibility and right to work in Australia  

Have a genuine desire to positively change people's lives  

Manual handling experience

Pay: $35.66 - $39.99 per hour
