As a Data Analyst Lv1 in Enterprise Data, you'll play a vital role in supporting the connection between the business, analytics solutions, and outcomes. You'll collaborate with various stakeholders across the organisation to understand business challenges and provide insights and data products to support data-driven decision-making. While working closely with your peers, you'll have the opportunity to build your skills and capabilities.

You'll have the chance to contribute to the growth of our organisation and tackle a variety of data challenges. Despite being smaller than larger companies, you'll have a significant impact and greater influence. Your contributions will be recognised, and you'll receive the support needed to develop and advance in your career. Additionally, you'll gain exposure to the entire business process, becoming proficient in how the banking industry operates.

You’ll be part of the Data Delivery team in our Enterprise Data function, supporting Great Southern Bank manage their data in day-to-day operations across all areas of the business.

**About you**
- Graduate of analytics, numerical, business, or financial discipline, and/or 1-3 years in a data analysis, technical analysis, or data focussed role.
- A keen interest in building or enhancing a career in data.
- Familiarity with SQL and/or Python (or similar) languages or seeking to gain foundational skills in data manipulation for business problem-solving.
- Familiarity with/interest in PowerBI, DAX, and best data visualisation practices.
- Interest in iterative and commercially focused delivery practices.
- Interest in cross-skilling in database programming languages and working with raw data.
- Interest in self-managing and contributing to data outcomes for business stakeholders.
- Interest in Finance or Banking with a basic understanding of regulatory obligations, data assurance, and governance practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a willingness to develop further.
- A budding problem-solving mindset, with the ability to manage tasks with guidance.
- Interest in learning and adapting to agile methodologies, using tools such as Jira and Confluence for work management and collaboration.

Professional Essentials / Accreditation
- Degree-level education (preferably in Finance, Numerical, or Computational fields).

Professional Desirable / Accreditation
- Interest in acquiring qualifications and/or experience in SAS EG, SQL, Python, and/or AWS/Databricks.
- Interest in acquiring qualifications and/or experience in PowerBI/Dax/Data Visualization.
- Desire to become a self-learner in picking up new programming languages.
