This role of Warehouse Supervisor is located at the DSM Nutritional Products (DNP NZ) production site in Auckland, New Zealand.

DNP NZ is a company whose core business is processing dry and liquid raw materials into finished products for the dairy and food, pharmaceutical, animal health and general chemical industries. Other principal activities are procurement of raw materials including fine chemicals for sale to industry, and marketing of in-house technical services to industry.

The role of Material Planner reports to the Planning Manager and works within the Human and Animal Nutrition and Health division on site. The Material Planner is part of the Planning and Manufacturing team.

**Purpose of the Position**

We are looking for a material planner to preparing documentation for production, manage inventories and ensure that material resources are consistent with production schedules. The material planner’s responsibilities include determining material specifications, creating, and maintaining inventory schedules, coordinating with internal departments, and managing external stakeholder relations

**Roles and Responsibilities**

The roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to;
- Prepare work packs for production - check and compile documentation and print labels
- Coordinate with Production Planner to check and convert process orders in SAP, check overage and release orders
- Confirmation of work orders, SAP data-entry
- Collect and assess data, prepare monthly reports - OTIF, SNOP, Inventory report, Forecast accuracy
- Monthly IBP Heuristic run forecast review and upload file to SAP
- RM replenishment - review RMs demand, Preq's creation and ensuring RMs in time
- Coordinate sampling, Airfreight, Transfer request and other related tasks
- Stock management - stock count management, resolve ant stock discrepancy, management of expired stock/aging and update appropriate files
- Assist in reviewing and preparing work instructions and SOP's for planning department

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**
- A minimum of 3 years material planning experience
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment and experience with Food Safety and the HACCP system.
- High level of experience with Microsoft Office
- SAP proficiency, preferable Material Management module. Other MRP system can be consider
- Manufacturing knowledge
