Christian Brothers’ High School, Lewisham is an independent Catholic School in the Edmund Rice tradition catering to boys from Years 5-12.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Literacy & Library Teacher who is passionate about fostering a love of reading and creating a vibrant culture of learning.
Reporting to the Head of Library, this role offers the opportunity to inspire students, collaborate with staff, and contribute to dynamic information literacy and literature programs.
**About you**
- Hold appropriate teaching qualifications
- Demonstrate high-level digital literacy
- Have an interest in the development and maintenance of library resources
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Show a commitment to supporting the Edmund Rice charism
- Understand and uphold professional boundaries and behaviours that reflect child safeguarding practices
- Are passionate about meeting the educational and wellbeing needs of young men
