About the Role
- This role is responsible for performing planned and corrective maintenance activities to plant, infrastructure and equipment in order to maintain Metro South Health (MSH) facilities in a safe and functional condition ensuring all work is performed in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner to prescribed quality standards meeting customer needs.
- Be an effective member of the team of Mechanical Fitter and Turner tradespersons responsible for the ongoing maintenance of plant and infrastructure.
- Provide professional, client focused, high quality technical support to the operation and maintenance of the Hospital plant and infrastructure for the Princess Alexandra (PAH) Hospital facility and Radiation Oncology Princess Alexandra and Raymond Terrace (ROPART). The position may also be required to provide support to other facilities including Logan Hospital, Redland Hospital, QEII Jubilee Hospital and Beaudesert Hospital.
- This position reports to the Central Energy Unit Supervisor.
